Financial Policies

Billing & Payment

  • We accept most major commercial insurance plans for office visits; however, the computer-based ADHD testing portion is SELF-PAY only. 
  • You will be responsible for any deductibles, copay, and the cost of the test. We can provide a superbill for you to submit to your insurance or HSA/FSA for potential reimbursement. 
  • Copays and deductibles are due on the day of service
  • A $100 deposit is required to hold your intake appointment and must be paid no later than 5 business days prior to your scheduled appointment. You can pay online by clicking on the paylink below or by calling the office at (781) 996-0046
  • The deposit will be refunded if you cancel at least 24 hours before your intake appointment or will be applied toward the remaining balance of the appointment.

Telehealth Reimbursement

  • Telehealth visits may not be covered by all insurance plans.
  • If your insurance does not cover the Telehealth visit, you will be responsible for payment under our self-pay fee schedule.
  • The cost of any non-covered Telehealth visit will be the patient's responsibility.
  • Please confirm Telehealth coverage with your insurance provider before your scheduled appointment.

Disclaimer: Medicare and Medicaid Not Accepted

Please note that we do not accept Medicare or Medicaid for ADHD evaluation, testing, or treatment, including medication management. We are unable to accept self-pay patients with Medicare or Medicaid plans. Patients with these insurance plans are encouraged to explore other providers that may better suit their coverage needs.

Office Policies

Refill Policy

  • Timely requests for medication refills are the patient’s responsibility. 
  • Please allow 3 business days for processing. It is your responsibility to notify our clinic at least 72 hours prior to running out of medicine.
  • Medication refills will be made only at the time of an office visit or during regular office hours. If you do not have a future appointment scheduled when a refill request is made, then your request will not be processed until you have done so.
  • Refills generally will not be given after office hours, during the weekends, or on holidays, so please schedule your appointments accordingly.
  • Plan Ahead: Anticipate your prescription refill needs and make sure you have an adequate supply of medication to last through weekends and holidays.
  • Respect Emergency Procedures: If you have a genuine emergency or urgent medical need, follow the appropriate emergency procedures in your area. If you run out of medication at a time when our office is closed, please head to the nearest emergency room if your health is at risk.
  • Any messages left on our answering machine will not be checked until the next business day and cannot be used for rapid communication after business hours.

Controlled Substance Policy

  •  Controlled substances will not be refilled earlier than the prescribed interval, nor will we change the dose or frequency of a controlled medication so that you can obtain an early refill.
  • Controlled substances will not be replaced if they are lost, damaged, or stolen.
  • Initial drug screen is required. Random drug screens and pill counts will be requested at our discretion.
  • Pharmacy refill requests are not accepted for controlled substances.

Refund Policy

  • No refunds are available once services have been rendered 
  • Dissatisfaction with services after they have been rendered does not entitle the patient to a refund.

Payment Policy

  •  All payments are due at the time of services rendered.
  • If you have an outstanding balance, you will not be seen until it has been paid..
