Get Clear Answers About ADHD

Difficulty focusing, staying organized, completing tasks, managing impulsivity, or keeping up at school or work can significantly affect everyday life.

At Aspire ADHD, we provide comprehensive evaluations designed to determine whether symptoms are consistent with ADHD or may be related to another psychiatric or medical condition.

Our approach combines clinical expertise, standardized assessment tools, and objective computerized testing to provide a thorough and individualized evaluation.

We evaluate and treat children, adolescents, and adults.

Comprehensive ADHD Evaluations

ADHD cannot be diagnosed by a single questionnaire or computerized test.

Our comprehensive evaluation process may include:

  • A detailed clinical and psychiatric interview
  • Review of current symptoms and functional impairment
  • Medical, psychiatric, developmental, educational, and family history
  • Standardized ADHD rating scales and screening questionnaires
  • Screening for conditions that may mimic or occur alongside ADHD
  • Objective computerized attention and response control testing using IVA-2
  • Review and interpretation of evaluation results
  • Personalized diagnostic and treatment recommendations

Our goal is to provide you with a clear understanding of your symptoms and appropriate next steps for care.

Objective ADHD Testing with IVA-2

The IVA-2 Continuous Performance Test is an FDA-cleared computerized assessment used as part of a comprehensive ADHD evaluation.

The test objectively measures areas related to attention and response control, including sustained attention, consistency, impulsivity, and the ability to respond appropriately to visual and auditory information.

Testing typically takes approximately 15–20 minutes.

IVA-2 testing does not diagnose ADHD by itself. Results are interpreted by your psychiatric provider alongside your clinical interview, history, symptoms, rating scales, and other relevant information.

This comprehensive approach helps support accurate diagnosis and individualized treatment recommendations.

How the ADHD Evaluation Process Works

1. Schedule Your Evaluation

Schedule an appointment for yourself or your child. Before your visit, you may be asked to complete intake forms and standardized ADHD questionnaires.

2. Complete Your Clinical Assessment

Meet with a board-certified psychiatric provider for a comprehensive evaluation of your symptoms, history, and current concerns.

3. Complete Objective ADHD Testing

Complete the IVA-2 computerized attention and response control assessment as part of your comprehensive evaluation.

4. Review Your Results

Your provider will review your clinical assessment, rating scales, IVA-2 results, and other relevant information to determine whether diagnostic criteria for ADHD or another condition are met.

5. Receive Personalized Recommendations

You will receive individualized recommendations based on your diagnosis, symptoms, medical history, and treatment goals.

When clinically appropriate, ongoing psychiatric treatment and medication management are available.

ADHD Evaluation for Children & Adolescents

ADHD symptoms can affect academic performance, behavior, relationships, organization, and self-esteem.

Our evaluations for children and adolescents consider symptoms across different environments, including home and school.

Parents, caregivers, and teachers may be asked to complete standardized questionnaires to provide additional information about the child's symptoms and daily functioning.

Our goal is to provide families with clear diagnostic information and individualized recommendations for treatment and support.

Adult ADHD Evaluations

ADHD is not just a childhood condition.

Many adults struggle for years with difficulty concentrating, procrastination, disorganization, forgetfulness, impulsivity, poor time management, and difficulty completing tasks without realizing that ADHD may be contributing to these challenges.

Our comprehensive adult ADHD evaluations are designed to provide diagnostic clarity and personalized treatment recommendations.

More Than ADHD Testing

Aspire ADHD provides comprehensive psychiatric care.

Because symptoms of ADHD can overlap with anxiety, depression, trauma, sleep disorders, and other psychiatric or medical conditions, every evaluation considers the whole person—not just a computerized test score.

When appropriate, patients may continue care with our practice for psychiatric medication management and ongoing treatment.
