Aspire ADHD offers eligible patients the option to complete computerized attention testing remotely as part of a comprehensive ADHD evaluation.
Using the IVA-2 Continuous Performance Test, patients can complete objective testing of attention and response control from home using a compatible computer.
Remote testing provides a convenient option for patients receiving care through telehealth or those who may have difficulty traveling to the office.
IVA-2 testing is one component of the evaluation process and does not diagnose ADHD on its own. Test results are reviewed by your psychiatric provider together with your clinical assessment, symptoms, history, rating scales, and other relevant information.
Remote IVA-2 testing may be available for patients who:
Your provider will determine whether remote testing is appropriate based on your individual circumstances.
Before beginning your test, you should have:
Phones and tablets cannot be used to complete the test.
After your clinical evaluation, eligible patients will receive instructions for completing the IVA-2 assessment.
You will complete the computerized test from home in a quiet environment without assistance, distractions, or interruptions.
The assessment itself typically takes approximately 15–20 minutes.
After testing is completed, your results are reviewed and interpreted by your psychiatric provider as part of your comprehensive ADHD evaluation.
For the most reliable results:
Do not stop or change prescribed medications unless instructed to do so by your healthcare provider.
Your psychiatric provider will review your IVA-2 results together with the information collected during your comprehensive evaluation.
You will receive an explanation of your results, diagnostic impressions, and personalized recommendations for next steps.
When clinically appropriate, patients may continue care with Aspire ADHD for psychiatric treatment and medication management.
IVA-2 computerized testing is a non-covered service and is not billed to insurance. Payment is required to reserve your testing session.
The testing fee includes administration of the IVA-2 Continuous Performance Test and a written report of your test results.
Patients Using Insurance for Clinical Services: $350
For patients receiving their clinical ADHD evaluation and psychiatric services through their insurance benefits.
Insurance may be billed separately for covered clinical services, including psychiatric evaluation and follow-up appointments, when applicable.
Self-Pay Patients: $450
For patients who are not using insurance for their clinical ADHD evaluation and related psychiatric services.
Payment for IVA-2 testing is due at the time of scheduling and is required to reserve your testing session.
If you are concerned that you or your child may have ADHD, a comprehensive evaluation can provide clarity and help determine the appropriate next steps.
Despite the value of the IVA-2 to promote more targeted treatment plans, potentially reducing trial-and-error approaches and unnecessary interventions, the administration of the test and generation of the report are not reliably reimbursed by commercial insurances. However, market research demonstrates that this cost is significantly more affordable than typical out-of-pocket costs for neuropsychological testing.
